Very rare and fabulous silver centrepiece (1897 England)
Description / Expertise This very rare centrepiece modelled as a child's swinging cradle is truly remarkable. It is made by the famous silversmiths Richard Martin and Ebenezer Hall and is hallmarked for Sheffield 1897. It is entirely hand-made: hand-chased, hand-engraved and cast. This piece was made for an important family and has a beautiful armorial (see photo).
